Anyone have any details on new store structure under Teaming for stores that haven't gone thru GWP yet? My SM was talking about it and mentioned our MHRM was telling him she had a new structure that was about to roll out and knew we would be losing at least 1 ASM.

My store managers play too many too much favorites with certain people and it doesn't matter if you do your job right you should all be favorite not just because they like you or they don't like you that's ridiculous and people have cheated on sla test just to get their position that's not fair either so it's good riddance to bad rubbish as far as I'm concerned in my store.
Workday = find another job day.

Latest rumor is it'll be announced in 2 weeks after workday is launched.
They will get that program to work whether people like it or not! it will be permanent because it saves them a ton of money!
Nothing is permanent at Wal-Mart.... Aside from sh– wages of course

Did you know this program was tried years ago – and failed miserably. Apparently, we did not learn anything the first time around.
It seems as though we are told its coming the first day of one qtr only to be changed to changed when that day comes.
By "certain area", i meant are they only rolling it out in certain markets or regions right now? Or are they finally going company wide?
It’s not a certain area, it’s a companywide permanent program for the total store.
This program has already started in a lot of markets.
How soon are they saying this is going to happen? And is it only certain areas?
Do you know if any severance package will be offered. When the greeter and personnel position went away a severance was offered to those people. Also, how can you get salaried managers to take an interest in the apparel area? We are drowning in freight and price changes and cannot get caught up. Cap 2 does not help with any of the freight or processing. There are approximately 17 + pallets and all apparel racks are full. Please, any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
We lost a couple of ASM's a few months ago. Also in the restructure line up – or positions going away: CSMs, DM's and Support Mgrs. This has been in the works for some time now, but post-poned due to Covid. Positions will be consolidated into Teams – with one Lead assigned to each area. So, therefore not enough Lead position for folks to transfer into. And, each Lead position has to be applied for. This is not an automatic promotion for anyone. People will be stepping down to different roles – and some folks will be moving on. Stress levels are about to get very high.
