If you are still furloughed and have any PTO time on the books put it in NOW.

Thats incorrect information. I picked up a part time job and still get partial ui.
I would use it if I had some, if not you risk being permanently laid off and it gone to waste. Just don't claim unemployment the week you use your PTO. It doesn't prevent you from claiming any other weeks so idk why some one would leave it unused so they can get the big $275 check from unemployment.
If can live on basic unemployment more power to you. Claim all PTO on 1 week. Use it or lose it.
Are you crazy! That's off the books too. If we get ant kind of pay, we do not very unemployment. Stupid suggestion!
