In January new policy came out about insurance.
Separated 1st-15 insurance ends on 15th.
16-30th it ends on the 30. Even if payment comes out, they will refund and end coverage.
Doesn’t give us much time to get new coverage or cobra set up.
Anybody at work can verify. I just have screen shot.
Get those pr-scrip-ions filled.

If you have a medical event that occurs during a gap with COBRA, you can retroactively apply for COBRA. Make sure you stay on to of HR regarding COBRA. I was laid of during the Feb. round. My district HR rep advised me that I would be getting the paperwork "shortly". I never got it. Thank God I found a job pretty quickly after I was laid off.
