Project managers and scrum masters are 2 Bogus job category to promote micro management instead of job done. They will create the problems which didn’t even exist in first place.
The entire Marketing org can be let go. We need more marketing staff like we need more lawyers. It’s like we need more project managers to solve some technical problem, because that always works. Oh excuse me, scrum master or agile coach, as project manager is so 1990s.
STS new job families. Remember the new titles we recently got in the name of industry realignment? This is help faciliate layoffs coming in the first wave of end of September. We are anticipating regulation sign off on the acquisition of TDA during first week of September. Going to be a 10% reduction, more on the TDA side. Then second wave will be larger reduction, affecting both Schwab and TDA closures. That’s when it gets ugly.
Branch and investor services. Expect STS and more internal roles to be hit during second wave.
Any department with severe overlaps with incoming TDA people. STS and Marketing for sure.
