Anyone who has worked for or at Xerox knows they love to lay-off before the holidays. This is especially true during the Thanksgiving and Christmas Season.

Agree that Thursday’s are typical. But this could even be delayed until Q4 since it’s getting a bit late to get everything processed before Q3 end. Don’t forget the legally required think-it-over period while you consider your options when faced with the horrible choice of no severance vs. your lawsuit options. This means they will have to act in early September if at all during Q3. Unless of course they pull a novel approach such as “you now work at lower salary for a partner, refuse and you are considered to have resigned” — as is currently allowed by policy as a severance (and general release waiver) avoidance tactic.

One area Xerox excels at is layoffs. Sad.

I think it will be September 3rd. Xerox likes to do things on Thursdays. Right before "Labor" day weekend. Fitting to screw employees at that time.
