Today was a Sh–ty day! But the rollercoaster ride is finally over!! I want to wish everyone the best of luck. Remember when one door closes another one will open!! You can be the best of the best at bbby but that doesn’t even matter to them! To be honest, i cannot wrap my head around the logic?!? For those of us let go today.. we will be ok... we knew it was coming but not so soon. Just keep looking forward and don’t dwell on the past !!

An associate from (800) Go Beyond called a store last week crying because those customer service positions were outsourced to the Philippines!!

I’m sorry you were let go. A very hardworking and experienced associate In my store was let go this morning and one who can barely ring a register or help a customer without LOD help got to stay because of longevity. Unfortunately I think it has to do with lawsuits. In the end you can objectively say people were let go based on tenure. Letting people go based on their ability becomes very subjective because we all know that people aren’t always documented they way they should be. If you say person A has more knowledge with x,y,z - person B can say well I asked but was never taught. And where’s the proof? But you can say person B has 12 years and person A has 10 yrs and there’s no ability brought into the equation. And again unfortunately the people who are left are screwed as well because we really rely on person A who is experienced in multiple facets but get stuck with person B who again needs LOD help for just about everything.
India is taking all of our jobs. IT, Payroll. Lmao Payroll!!!! Everyone will be ok. Merica!!!
