They only have to pay you vacation for time accrued . I was let go in February after 16 years and had 4 weeks vacation coming . I only got what was “accrued” which was 1.66 days per month for Jan and feb. Also they taxed the severance at almost 40% so what I received was way less than my default paychecks which were not taxed at that rate . Just an FYI! Good Luck to all!

They shafted folks out of our severance packages because of being furloughed. Said didn’t work due to COVID, so those weeks were deducted. No loyalty from BBB. Get out while you can find another job.

I'm not furloughed, but my SM was the one that told me. He told me that I should be getting a call from HRSC within the next day. They would be handling the monetary part. PTO paid out. Would also be getting a package via FedEx with the papers to sign along with an envelope with prepaid label to return them. The severance would be however you have it set up (direct deposit or check).

Speaking from experience as part of February layoffs: Severance has been paid just like the standard pay. Vacation is the amount of hours/days accrued for 2020.

One more quick question.. as I mentioned I’m a 11 year FTer on furlough .. does the company call me or my SM? & if I’m getting a severance does it just appear in my Bank Account? Again, I thank you for all the info shared & I’m so sorry for everyone that this has affected.
