About 1000-2000 employees are in the process of being laid off this week, mostly within the Sales organization and sub teams within specialists and enablement. The organization is planning to run extremely lean next year with little to no special programs or teams. Best of luck to those who have been or are being notified to find another role within 60 days within the company. It is going to be very, very challenging.

There has been no internal communications or any official PR. Can anyone confirm if everyone affected has been notified, or if layoffs are still ongoing?
Wow! 60 days.. that’s amazingly generous. I was made redundant from atlassian with 2weeks notice and 4 weeks severance.. incredibly disappointing at a time like this!
I was given 60 days to look for a role internally. If I cannot find it I will get an 18 weeks severance payment.
Benioff said no lay off for 90 days - this was back in April. Well, at least he kept his words
Several folks from Datorama were let go today. DTR never had layoffs before.

Turns out this Ohana was closer to a dysfunctional family that doesn't give a rats a– about their own and portrays a really positive humanitarian image to the public. I can't believe I drank the company cool-aid those years ago, good riddance.

Ditto on GTM. Short and sweet ... "you're position has been eliminated ..." He seemed glum during the 10 minute process, but, frankly, I'm fairly certain it's because he was being shot as well.
After years of "Ohana" happy-talk, thousands are being laid off in the middle of a pandemic so Marc and shareholders can make more money, on top of the millions they already have. Can't help but notice they're letting the experienced teams go, but keeping new, inexperienced employees in low-cost regions.
I feel bad for everyone, but worse for the customers who are used to a certain level of service.
I've heard (from a dev manager) that Tableau Test Engineering *MTS (which includes me) are all gone.
I suppose from a salary perspective, letting customers find the bugs is cost-effective, but that's a really terrible thing to do to our customers.
Signature Support in Fredericton here, tenure of 8+ years. All Support in our office has been axed.

Employee Success here. Top performer unceremoniously dumped after nearly 12 years of service despite consistently glowing feedback from folks across all orgs. I'm the only one on my team to be affected, likely because I am expensive, and also as the result of some pretty sketchy office politics. Good riddance! I shall take my ninja skills elsewhere where they are valued. So totally relieved to be out of the endless SF rat race.
