We should not see any large job cuts or freezes. The federal government will need to step up to the plate and help the oil and gas industry in Alberta.
Alberta is the engine that powers “literally” the rest of the country. I believe we will see investment and funding from the federal government to help us. TROC (the rest of Canada) needs to understand the contribution we have made in supporting the country including transfer payments.
We should see more investment in the coming months including investments to help transport and refine oil.
Things should hold steady for 2020. No major cuts etc. Just don’t expect a bonus this year.
