OMG Aviation DT is a mess. First off a lot of the software is outdated and past its life cycle. Next why do we waste so much time on transparency and diversity. Couple of hours and everyone would get the point. Now they plan on wasting more time on culture. Two days would be all you need on that. When they finally get to process, mgmt said it would be about a year on that. Agile, Scrum and Kanban have been around for years. Pick one and implement. Should take about 2 weeks. So in one month we could be on course. DB and CC can't decide what they want for lunch in a month so we are doomed.

DT is by far the most top heavy function in Aviation. If you can put together a good pitch and tell a story, you'll go far in this org. Things will not change until DB is outed.
What does DT stand for? Seriously...
- Diversity and Transparency?
- Digital Transfornatuin?
- Duck and Tuck?
Instead they protected themselves and laid the 25% off!
DT is way too overstaffed in all of GE actually.
Add to that all the people producing meaningless video training and the corporate and business infrastructure staffs are bloated.
DT is way overstaffed. I think mgmt gets away with it because they are excellent talkers and presenters and even a small project completion they make it look like a huge "transformation". Best and only skill GE managers have is they are presentation k–lers.
100% Agree. My estimate is 75% of Aviation DT could be laid off and no body in the business would notice!
Actually, it could go further and lay off all the hidden DT teams in the business that exist, because DT does not produce what is needed for the teams.
GE should be asking former employees where to save costs!
Please do as you are told
