I’ve heard through the grapevine that Estée Lauder wants out of Belk because it’s not “upscale” enough to represent their brand, not sure if this is fact or just rumor but it will be interesting to see what transpires in the next few months. If Lauder pulls out it would include Clinique and Mac

Just read an article that states layoffs are between 1,500 and 2,000 and primarily point of sale positions.

I’ve heard rumors Lauder wanted to exit Belk last year
The article in the news said that the company lost a lot of in person business due to coronavirus. Now they'll depend on on line sales. But isn't that where it's all going anyway.
