To those in IM, IRSM, Infra, or BU IT wondering if you have a job, best advice I can give you is stop waiting for the numbers to come out for what % each job group will get cut and instead just start looking for another job cause statistically your better off. Especially if you have no data science, programming, etc. skills that Chevron will try to retain.
And if you a supervisor for IM, IRSM, Infra, or BU IT, better hope you got someone protecting you cause, the cuts will be brutal compared to any other function. Long story short, if your job can be replaced by "Steve" from Mumbai, the goal is to do so.
So any adminish, DevOps, etc. job that can be done by someone offshore can and will be done. Same goes for alot of admin/coordination jobs in the CRA group that are not software engineering jobs.
