Bangalore offshore does not guarantee that outsourcing cannot happen. And it is surely not cheaper than outsourcing companies if cost is the main criteria.
Of course it could happen. They already pay Bangalore associates less than they pay us and they need to cut back on costs. What would stop them from replacing U.S. associates with more offshore to cut back on costs?
Lbrands already have Bangalore offshore. Outsourcing wouldn't happen.
I assume they would layoff anyone dispensable... OR they could outsource all of us to some huge Tech company like TCS. That happened to someone I know.
How could someone above VP decide who gets to keep their job and who doesn't. Does anybody know of the criteria for this round of layoffs?

Haven't heard anything concrete but based on information floating around Wed is when it will start. Hope they pay severance.
