Anyone know the poo on what’s up with NGS stores? Word on the street is we are shopping Christmas tree shop which is where that merchandise comes from. Also there is the small detail that we are no longer staffed to build all the furniture that comes or remerch the treasure hunt tables.....or do anything in that room really since priority is Omni Only (or is that Omni Always?). I mean our whole store is a mess so it’s not like it stands out as an eyesore 😂.

All of the NGS people in Corporate got laid off months ago, NGS is dead, it was Temares' baby, so its gone. Surprised that wasn't more clear when literally all of the NGS staff got axed. The NGS sales across the board weren't good enough to support the initiative. For once, BBB did a test and waited to see the results before rolling it out to hundreds of stores. Usually, it was ready, fire, aim, and by the time the results came back, the new program was already rolled out everywhere!
The company is so wrong. NGS has been great for sales growth and for the customer. Customers live that section. All I see is people who DONT work in a store making decisions on what should happen.

My store was told pre-shutdown that our NGS was going away. Didn't tell us why, didn't tell us when, didn't tell us what would be taking its place. No surprise there.
All I can say is you can’t get blood from a stone!!!!
