Maybe Disney can issue some long term bonds to bring back and pay its workers. We all know a year from now Disney will have a hard time finding that same talent if it decides to go through layoffs. Could be 2-3x (not including time and opportunity cost) more expensive to spin up HR and then find the right people.

I’m just going to state the obvious here: how can a company pay for employees when they have close to no revenue at all?!? Has anyone been to the parks lately?!? ... that’s the real problem, there are no guests in the park. Until attendance starts increasing, you cannot expect people getting called back.

Gabrielle Russon:
How about doing a story on when employees can expect to get back to work and what Disney is doing to bring back its employees that are still furloughed? I think many of us on this forum find that story much more compelling

Agreed with getting the trash off the forum. The Orlando Sentinel should be more concerned about Disney doing well and getting employees back to work... Or, their advertisers are going away due to lack of work and lack of companies to support OS.
