This post had to be started by none other than the Basement Troll. I'm guessing this by all the dislikes from his minions on the comments that don't support his narrative. There are no rumors of Belk closing. Could it happen? Of course it could. As a previous commenter mentioned, 6 - 7 weeks of being closed has hurt all the non-essential retailers. And unfortunately, covid-19 isn't slowing down, so we can only keep doing what we are doing safely and hope for the best.

What retailers other than those considered “essential,” (Walmart, Target), are not? Of all mall retail entities, are any in a different situation? 6 weeks - 2 month shut-in will be a long recovery. It will be lean and frustrating, no doubt.
The company is in major financial distress, what more information do you need?
