How can a company that boasts about being “family” just throw their very loyal and hardworking employees onto the street with hardly any notice? Then they are denying people their unemployment claims. I regret the decision to ever work there.

There is a favoritism when it comes to call people back to work , it's really depend on how your relation ship with your manager , nordstrom didnt make any rules to who deserved to be called. A company that always scream with values that support equality and respect diversity it's just a slogan but not real. They dumped me to after 10 years of hard work with company with not even apreciation for my service.
These days it’s more like “how does one get away with this” AND “how do they sleep at night” kind of feeling. Rolling my eyes a few times. Unemployment denied as Nordy said I am employed, but I am not. No paychecks and no benefits. Frustrated
