Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

Are there any CAP 2 Associates who are being targeted because of the "stocking time" rules?

My spouse works CAP 2, and management has been riding the whole teams' asses to get their work done in the time allotted. Now, they say that a newly hired person fresh off the street can make those times, but that is not true. Many on his crew are being targeted, hours cut, coachings, supervisors standing at the end of an aisle watching them work. ALL of this is happening during COVID-19. This store is in Washington State, which, as of 7/20/20, are finally requiring all customers to wear masks, although there are those who will say they have a medical condition not to wear a mask, but yet we see them wearing them in other places. Go figure.

A huge part of the issue that these CAP 2 workers are facing is that customers are not wearing masks, crowding aisles, not following arrows, and being complete jerks when asking for assistance. CAP 2 workers are taking the brunt of the wrath of supervisors or co-managers, because they are not making their times. They are all about the time it takes to complete 12 pallets of product in 3-5 hours, all the while trying to dodge customers, helping customers, having to get their pallets from GM to Grocery within a 2 minute window. We calculated that they expect you to empty a box of product in 20 seconds or less in order to even come close to making times. It is nearly impossible on the 2-11 shift.

I have a background in law, so I am encouraging my spouse to get as many CAP 2 workers who have been there more than 2 years to start a class action lawsuit for wrongful firings, retaliations, lost hours, etc.
If there are any CAP 2 workers that have had or having this same issue, reply to my thread, please!

You just need to get out of there. It's not gong to get better. All the time and skill you employed to create your post would have been better invested in updating and posting your resume on a replacement job.

As for a class action law suit, you need a minimum of forty litigants. You'll find twice that many co workers complaining about their jobs, but almost none willing to actually sign paperwork and legally commit themselves to suing this company.

Get your resume together. Find a better job and get out of there.
