If someone in your home has to quarantine untill a negative result is given and the family is also asked to quarantine...do you get paid as a full timer? Or do I have to take a leave

I was told if your full time you can use Your sick time or apply for Loa p/t can also apply Loa unemployment doesn’t pay when your sick and unable to look for work, that’s what LOA is for...
Take a leave and make sure u file for unemployment
in NY you get paid for a certain amount of days and your employer cant refuse to pay it if you are quarantined
