4eja+164Nw4GC, I've heard mention of similar stories dating back 15 years or more. Seems Noble has a history of targeting staff with health issues for termination. The company self-insures the medical, so terminating seriously ill employees saves them money. Might be a legal case there. Sadly though, if your friend is as far along as you say, it will be something for her estate to pursue. Noble management really are b-st-rds.

4eja+164Nw4GC, sorry to hear about your co-worker. There was a time when Noble would have done everything possible to help her. If her family doesn’t know how to navigate this stuff, you may be able to advise them to enroll in Cobra.
There’s also a small chance they could reach out to nbl to plead for some mercy to extend medical and life insurance. I would go to DS, BS, and hrVP - there’s no time to waste on lower levels.
Made part-timer on first round, called back to full time eff 7/27. Wish I had gotten a package then , but I think I will from the Chevron deal. If it's decent. I'll be happy to go. I liked my team and my boss is a little better than ok. Management was a holy mess. I get DS is finally going to get his wall -0- cash.. What really s—s is that my co-worker has been out on medical leave fighting cancer and they first put her on furlough, then laid her off last week. She is now in hospice care and if she doesn't die before 7/31/ she will lose all her insurance - health and life. She has been at the company for over 10 years.
Being able to troll HRs facebook pages to see their posts about taking flights on the Noble private jet. They're "Bizness Partners....." Suuure they are.
I love half days fridays so I can get away from everyone. Nothing good about here. Maybe the gym employees and cafeteria. Everyone else is a backstabbing, gossiping, bia.

Yet I’m now in charge of “Exploration Excellence”.
