I work for Exxon Mobil. You DO NOT want to be acquired by them ! They are the most TOXIC bunch of a–holes this side of hell. Wish I had never left COP.

Exxon-Mobil is always laying off the bottom 8-10% of performers. That’s not even related to the recent downturn. They are so disciplined that they know how to get rid of dead weight without being forced to. It’s called running a healthy strong business. COP would be lucky to be acquired by XOM.

Let’s hope no one buys COP. The company is well run and has a good balance sheet. The Company deserves to survive this terrible environment on their own.
