In my experience they contine to Schedule the Associate who has tested positive and those hours and shifts are not covered or paid for. regardless of the claims that say otherwise
An associate tested positive at our store, we all know she did. Our SM denies it, and refuses to close our store or even discuss cleaning it. This was a little over a month ago, and we still haven't seen her back at work. Her shifts continue to go uncovered but she's still being scheduled.
Anyone who worked with her shouldve been tested, but they told us not to worry. Our SM insisted that there was no way we had been in contact with her.That if we were following regular cleaning protocol we shouldnt have to test. She worked 1 day, then was gone the next we haven't seen her since.
Even requesting a LOA is difficult. Alot of associates are scared and at risk. But we would have to request it through HR, according to our SM theres even the possibility of it being denied. Even if it was granted, it means we cant claim unemployment...
