Many of my colleagues have been laid off from Belk only to now see them hiring college grads with no experience when many of us have graduated in past three or four years and have retail experience. I ask the CEO to stop this outrageous practice and instead hire back the Merchandise Assistants and put them into the graduate program. Someone needs to demonstrate common sense and fairness, obviously HR is not.

They aren’t hiring anyone. They are on their way out. Just look at the desperate sales they keep having. Now offering $100 gift cards for $80 - if you buy any you had better use them this week.
i am flabbergasted at some of the choices belk makes for management, I’ve never seen anything like it in over 30 years in retail.
