I'm a DM. Told my job is going away and I need to apply for something else. I've never been coached or had a bad evaluation but they aren't considering me for TL or AT, looks like. They started splitting everyone up into teams this week and appointing team leads as a test to see how they do (ones who've shown interest). I haven't been picked. The teams are made to do other departments freight, cap bins and stock the freight and picks. We are all over the place on top of each other and apparel is overlooked so in the maybe 2 hours you have left you need to get your freight, cap bins, do picks, stock, zone and set up new mods. I am over 60 years old and have a nerve disease but have been made to do 3 & 4 pallets of freight by myself 2 days in a row now plus running back and forth to different departments capping bins and stocking. I'm doing other people's jobs for less money and nobody is doing mine and now I'm probably not going to even have a job. I'm about to just walk out because I'm in so much pain.

Do not walk out. Try to stick it out for severance. If you are a DM you should stick it out to get severance if it's a option.
Whoever clicked dislike on my kind advice to at least check into your financial assistance options can kiss it. I was not only being nice in trying to help, I was RIGHT. But you do what ever suits you.

Which state?
I am so sorry this is happening to you. I think you should check with your state's disability claims office, check into early retirement options, go on and check into partial unemployment benefits while you're at it. You've worked and slaved all your life and now you need help, it's YOUR turn!
It will not get better!
