Layoffs are starting this week of employees that were not in good standing with either company. Ex current sprint employee deemed not rehirable by T-Mobile and vice versa.

I was one of the employees affected by this. I was not rehireable at Sprint. But I was doing really well at T-Mobile. I worked all through covid-19 when nobody wanted to work. I won winner circle a few quarters, usually top of my district and even got #1 in market once. I was heading in the right direction then I got the call saying I’m not eligible to work for “The New T-Mobile” due to my situation at sprint. I was fired from them and not rehireable. I’m theyre offering me a severance package but it’s nothing compared to what I was making. Do we have a case here or sign the package and take the L?
Are those employees being terminated or laid off? Are they actually able to terminate based on something at the previous company?
They just started yesterday. It’s as if they’re looking for any reason to layoff employees. Just s—s that you’ve been doing so well with the carrier you work for and they fire you for some bs reason. Good luck to everyone who’s excelled at their current company. Things will only get worse from here.
