Major layoff underway in India - process simple move to bench and induced resignation after 40 days.
If manager fails to identify enough people to move to bench - manager will be automatically asked to leave .
short term target to reduce around 5000 staff across all centers in India.

Cognizant brought me from India in H1B, I'm billable to client but manager ranked me in meets some without any reason. Lot of Indian language racisms here. I was exceed expectation last year, same project same technology this year rated low. Due to this they asked me to get separate from company in a week. Don't know what benift they offer?

Was laid off yesterday in US, Associate role US Citizen was billable. I got lowest rating without any explanations at all from prev project. Even being billable wont help. Karma will get to the ones who ranked me the lowest. Such difficult time to get get laid off. Sh–ty , Racist company
