I am, and good for you to pull something down in this environment. I think tech is completely deluded, the Nas futures a sign of madness. It will take some time to beat the tech companies down to earth, but they will go. Like AAPL, flat revenues and fake, financialized valuations.
@Bleak Are you in Seattle? There are absolutely companies hiring right now. I began looking in late March once the writing on the walls was clear. Plenty of companies are doing well throughout the lockdown and are ramping up hiring. Job search took me a month and a half (put in my notice in mid-May) and that was with two failed virtual on-sites, so it could have been over in a month.

Still so bizarre there is no news of any of this, considering how much there was from the 2016 cycle.
For those affected, do not get discouraged, there is life after Nordstrom. I certainly ended up in a much better place, in all respects. But it took some work.
The main difference now is that the world is in a depression and NO ONE is hiring, or will be, for years. But don’t let that discourage you from chasing your dreams.
i left shortly before..how many were laid-off? Were there demotions as well?
Feel bad for them..they are good people..but lost touch of the outside world skill being in that hole for so long..
HR is going to find out about HR cuts at the end of June.
HR layoffs are next week.
How do you know they're "done" . My wife works in HR, remote, and no word yet.
