Heard 2 PMO gone recently and upcoming IT Program level cut soon. They will replace IT Program Managers with Minimum wage interns / secretary who knows excel. After all IT PM is only job where no skills needed.

Company car program is not going anywhere. GM has to be competitive if they need to attract the right talent to get the job done. People complaining about it should work harder and may be learn some new skills if they really want to rise up the ladder. I was a level 8/9 ( hit the ceiling on 8th band) and left GM last year for a better opportunity. I am answering to this post as I had a colleague there who openly talked about his frustrations on how other people get this benefit and he does not, why GM should take it away. He was one of those people who had no critical responsibilities and his knowledge curve was a flat line for however many years I have known him. There are many more like that all over GM.
When are they going to get rid of the stupid company car program? Obnoxious j–koffs parade about in their fully loaded company paid SUVs while the entire workforce takes a 20% cut. And the funny thing is, not of them would buy a GM vehicle if this program was not there. Take away the company car program and restore the salaries !!
