I was lucky and I left on my own last year. Still have at least 20 more years until retirement and wait for a package that might never come was not an option any more.
Plus all the stress to know if there will be layoffs next week was taking a toll on me, There is a lot of uncertainty now, but be positive and all the best for those impacted.
