Customers operating Power Equipment

Question. Is it a violation of any type of a manager allows a customer to use our tile saws to cut their own tile inside of the store.

Just because it uses electricity doesn't mean it qualifies as power equipment.

I am sure that it is written somewhere in policy that it is an infraction to knowingly allow any customer to put themselves in harms way by allowing them to use any company hardware/equipment that is designated for employee use only. Not only is it just plain stupid, it also opens up the company for an unnecessary lawsuit should anything happen to the customer. Hopefully someone with knowledge of what specific policy is involved will chime in.
