Curious if anyone else still furloughed is getting pummeled by attorneys and journalists for new and older unsettled cases or stories? In 13 years I've never been approached before so i'm wondering if there is some type of list of us going around?

Go find yourself a lawyer who won't take on your case because you have zero standing on a lawsuit. As another commenter said, call up Dan Newlin, good luck. Peace.

Also how is the title misleading? The title of "class action" doesn't have anything to do with asking if you've been contacted about class action suits? Got it! What would be the point to "mislead" people? Is there some incentive to have people open my questione like You Tube is? I didn't know that, now I know. Peace!

The OP probably expected people to read the question and maybe answer it... cause thats kinda how internet forums work.
I have not had anyone reach out to me. I did check into one personally that I saw (The 401k lawsuit one) but since it did not apply to me I didnt follow up
When you name your thread “class action question” what exactly do you expect people to talk about?

So thanks for the feedback but literally no one addressed the question. I am not seeking advice, trust me there's a basis. I simply wanted to know if anyone had been contacted by attorneys during this furlough.
Getting furloughed in the middle of short term disability and losing health benefits dont sound legal to me
I don’t know about a class action suit. But I would at least think about filing a discrimination one depending on your age / gender etc if they haven’t called you back but they’re posting your job now.
But it is a little dirty when the are not calling people back and posting jobs on linked in and not the SeaWorld careers page. Dont wait for them. They are moving on.
May I make a suggestion? Spend more time re-inventing yourself and searching for a new career instead of worrying about your SEAS status or speaking to lawyers or the press! I started 3 weeks ago, sending resumes and applying online. I try to contact 6 or 7 businesses per week. I have received 3 offers, in other states (I'm in Florida) I am willing to relocate and re-invent myself and begin a new life. I'm in control of my own destiny. SEAS will not ruin me!
There isn’t a basis for claim. SeaWorld isn’t the only company not immediately bringing back 100% of their staff. All sorts of businesses are staffing less because there’s way less demand. Conventions, theater, and basically anything in hospitality will take forever to crawl towards the old normal.
On what basis does anyone have a class action claim?
The media is finally on to how the company is treating their employees. Wonder how the public would feel if they knew?
