At least three positions eliminated in Atlanta. Some of the IT people are being outsourced.

Yes more lay offs are on the way. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure it out. Too bad they didn't ask for voluteers or furlough until they get things turned around, which I doubt will ever happen.

Are you basically saying everybody who experienced the outage is being let go?

500 people will be credit of 50M to 75M of the 1 billion that PZ promised to save as part of AIG200. You do the math.....just a drop in the bucket. Notice how they lay off in many locations, a little here, a little there...That is so the media doesn’t see it

We know the numbers based on deactivated LAN IDs requested thru the system. They bolluxed that though and deleted half the company from the system, hence why you couldn't access the network for several hours last week. We don't know all the business units as only those with access to the HR system and in Finance know the breakdown. No secret this was coming if you heard townhalls in IT. And another next month for good measure. Leadership wants to reduce every level of FTE and do as much as possible with offshore people. Can't wait to watch the major outages start escalating.
