Will Everyone Be Brought Back?

Well our store has reopened and I'm a FT but am still furloughed till 27th. I'm getting nervous we won't all be invited back? Does anyone have info on this? Can they lay us off instead?

To @5kgy+15paBwV9, if it makes you feel any better, I'm FT, and I only got 4 hours this week. At this point, I think they're just f—ing with people.

When we opened for cubside, we had SM OPS manager, two part time employees The receiving lead said the could not come back yet he part time person said she could not either so I was next in line. I am RTV CIP and numerous other things but I know who to receive and process loads. I was the only full time person. This week they brought back a few more most of the full timers (I THINK two are still furloughed). We opened a week ago.

I got called back, and they only gave me 4 hours. But Full timers got good hours. Sad situation here.

They were told to wait until sales picked up to a certain level before bringing back any FT. But it also depends on how many PT came back too. They said FT will be our a bit longer but it could vary by store need.

Wondering what will happen to stores that we’re in liquidation for closing?

I'm full timer that got a call yesterday to go back. Our store was told only full time receivers, not the other full timers, were to come back. Our other two full timers haven't heard anything yet. We don't know if they will be back at a later time or let go.

Honest talk.....most Full Time associates wont be brought back. And Assistant Managers that have not been called back after store reopens to public will most likely not be brought back either. Very sad situation....good luck to all.

My mgrs said that they have no idea when everyone will be brought back, but payroll is only very slowly increasing, so they thought it would definitely be more like July before we’re all called back to work. I work a specialty department, so I’m kind of expecting to be one of the last to be called back, if they don’t just eliminate my position.

The stores are being told to stick to a certain ratio of ft/pt hours... so really it depends on each individual stores sales and how many hours they get whether they can bring all ft back

Same here. My manager called me about two weeks ago and gave me little info. He said they were opening for curbside, but had no idea would when the store would actually open or when we could go back. But he told a part timer we are opening on the 16th and they were slowly asking part timers to come back. As of now, they have all three managers and four part timers.
