Absolutely ridiculous rates.

With all this bad news about the industry and wages and Aberdeen I would’ve thought everyone would be glad to be free of it. I am therefore really puzzled that these people can find the time to bitterly sh–post on this site.
This is the fault of Aberdeen and the people there. I am so glad I no longer work there because they have caused a global depression and had a hand in covid19 and they also made me lose my work. I have now had to move back to Dundee thanks to them

The simple thing is If the main man on the rig is now on 500.00 a day what will happen to everyone else be getting cut too , this is a long term job too.

Drillers are getting offered 350 a day at the moment ????.
13 hours a day, high risk, night shift, travel , long trips, c-ap food, and absolutely zero job protection for the same as a taxi driver makes a day. ??

I can make way more money as a electrician than I can offshore now, home every night and not stuck on a rig full of waxks for 70% of my life.
