Thread regarding General Electric Co. layoffs

Prediction: 15-20% reduction in engineering

This one could be much deeper than previous. Wouldn’t be surprised to see a 15-20% reduction in engineering. There is no money for NTI/NPI for the foreseeable future. Thank Jeff Immelt.

@qaz+ It’s going to be all of the businesses, there’s no way around it. GE is burning cash and there is no end in sight. RIF’s are the quickest way to reduce cost, so expect more in the very near future.

What GE Business are referencing ?
I'm in Healthcare, we are just coming thru a reduction this month.
I sure hope its over for this year.
