Thread regarding Bed Bath & Beyond layoffs

Working in Florida , and our states Covid cases are increasing daily by up to 1,000 confirmed.

What is going on, all employees are using masks....customers, some do but not all! What happens when an employee gets the coronavirus?? And now experts are saying we should be using face shields because the virus can go thru the eyes. I'm I the only one worried, what are your thoughts.
Our governor hasn't been on in weeks saying how everything is going great. But what about now since the cases have been up, up up ...

Protecting your life is your own responsibility, not anybody else's. You may think you have no choice, but you do. Your employer is not going to give a rat's a– if you get sick, you will be replaced pronto. I also live in (South) Florida, my boss is gung-ho about everyone returning to work, but he's unmarried and rather reckless, and doesn't even bother to treat people nice, so my choice is clear. Coronavirus cases in Florida have been steadily rising since the partial re-opening, which is contrary to the relaxation rules, but there will be no official admission of that - the level of danger here is higher than ever, with more people infected going about their business as if nothing happened.
