NJ Unemployment Payment Issues

any other NJ Execs having issues with Unemployment? Many of Us I have spoken to we were coded incorrectly and receiving the bare minimum (as if we were a contractor). Multiple tickets opened with HR Yielded the response "we made an error- have NJ Unemployment re download the data". Well- cant reach a human at NJ UI... thanks!

Has any NJ executives had any luck with resolving this issue? I have called, emailed, messaged and filed appeals. Please share if you have any suggestions.

Do you think we could have a class action lawsuit for this issue?

yup...we are working on it, but no timeframe lmfao! The first three tickets I opened up was met with the response "Contact NJ Unemployment (or win the mega millions)"

Just got back to work and immediately received the email notification that a wks vacation was taken away due to not accruing enough time.

So quick to take away- so slow to fix life changing mistakes
but... "You Count"

Current/furloughed employe. We were emailed this Monday night. I have still not gotten unemployment because of this

Important Unemployment Update

Dear colleagues,
We want to provide you with some information regarding a concern with some semi-monthly paid colleagues in New Jersey.
We identified an issue with reporting that was filed with the state of New Jersey. Once identified, we immediately corrected and reported to the State of New Jersey on 5/11/2020.
The New Jersey Department of Labor has confirmed receipt of the amended Macy s files and they are currently working through the individual data. We have worked with our unemployment vendor, Equifax, to contact the New Jersey Department of Labor to ensure they are working through the data as quickly as possible.
If you have questions and wish to contact the New Jersey Department of Labor, please use the following link to contact the Division of Unemployment Insurance: https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=0cN2UAI4n0uzauCkG9ZCp8zTKxTpe0RMmjY7qrMr_3BUOFlVUklYTzhDQjlWR0NaMVk1NjBQODJDWCQlQCN0PWcu
It is not necessary to reach out as this fix is underway. However, if you choose to reach out to the New Jersey Division of Unemployment Insurance, please advise them of the following:
Macy s sent updated wages on May 11, 2020 and they wish to have those adjusted wages used in the calculation of their Weekly Benefit Amount (WBA).
Colleague should be specific that the updated wages should be looked at for previous weeks, as well as, going forward.
We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Macys failed to send the correct file therefore you only got paid the pandemic minimum of 231 a week. Was told to call it reapply with unemployment. Fat chance in hell of that happening. So we send email after email and wait for it to be corrected.

Still incorrect unemployment pay here too. I've emailed through the DOL site, emailed specific UI contacts, spoke with Macy's HR services, filed an appeal and haven't gotten through on the phone to NJ UI yet. Nothing. $231 a week from PUA nothing from Macy's(based on the amount)
