HR also got impacted in this round. Heard that GBS is changing direction (???) to slow down hiring in the US...quite a generalized statement but something to think about if you are still with IBM .
H1B wasn’t touched even though the program should be ended now that Covid, terrorism, and intellectual property theft is rampant around the world.
How bad was GTS hit? If so, which parts?
Nothing at Red Hat was touched. They're untouchable and can do no wrong. Isn't it great that we paid 34bn for them? :barf:
I don't know of many software brands being hit. At least I haven't heard of SW Sales being hit. May be next round?
I work in sales and we weren’t hit as hard (outside of gts sales)
Safe place in IBM? The C-Suite. And that's about it.
Upper management of course.
