In the stores that are opening who is doing the schedules? Has the SWST, former DMET been called back to work?
I heard AST supervisors got editing access back to change schedules.

I thought only AST supervisors have it. The AST colleagues have editing access also?
My AST Team and I all have access to schedules but we don’t do it, the Store Manager and OPs Manager do them. Not sure how long our access will last though.
AST is still doing cash office/change requests, payroll and answering the phones. Our phones are ringing off the hook because they are no longer routed to the departments as there is no coverage to answer phones and help in store customers. We are also doing work orders and accident reports. We do go help recover on the floor but depending on if it's a bank pickup day, we can't go too far. There is no set time so you must be nearby for them.
Since March, it's slower as there are no interviews and training going on nor are there hrbp sending emails every hour demanding information they need NOW and something they could have easily looked up themselves.
AST in my store is just basically sales associates now... "There's no work in the office right now " says VPSM.
SWST will be back when all stores reopen. Stores doing schedules is temporary.
i am not sure SWST is done. who will do schedule, create reqs, manage the departmental bases, budgets etc, when they did away with DMET. they created SWST with more responsibility. i think to save money right now they are giving scheduling back to the stores and once the stores slowly open more and following regular hours, they will call them back. how could AST do any more??? plus it is only the supervisors who got editing access. not the AST colleagues. SWST has special INSITE access, are they going to give that to all of AST?

The original post says the "former DMET". Everybody knows DMET is gone and it became SWST. AST supervisors now have editing access gain. I assume AST supervisors and store managers might be doing schedules...so where does that leave SWST?
DMET is gone. Store Mgr does all scheduling, PTO, etc.
I remember the days when we were called gsm’s and edited our own schedules. Dang that was a long time ago.
Schedules are being done at store level. Supposed to be by the store manager.
