There is a difference between a customer who spends money on cosmetics, shoes, handbags ext and a customer who quickly drops into belk to buy a $8 t shirt, unfortunately the $8 tshirt customer is what Belk is attracting now, and a store cannot survive selling things with a price point that low. the customers who would spend $200, $300 or more at my store are slowly going away, I see less and less of them.
