Does anyone have any insight regarding the benefits being extended past the end of June?

I hope they tell us soon. I remember they told us around the 20th in may for insurance coverage for June

Couldn’t disagree more with the last comment. Corporate employees handle anything from SEC filings and the huge financing package for 4.5 billion that was just raised to buying and predict inventory and fashion trends. Some are lawyers that have been sorting through new regulations set in place from covid. Some work in real estate and are trying to negotiate new leases that we can afford or get out of a lease early. Corporate employees are the back office support that many store employees never here from or see their work but it is being done and that’s why the lights are on when you come back to the store that you work in.

i doubt if you have not received a callback yet as a corporate exec you will be laid off.
Simple formula: need sales to increase to increase employment of colleagues.
Right now- the landscape in the most profitable region is slow due to state restrictions. I doubt those massive layoffs will occur only to have to rehire once sales and marketshare pick up.
I have faith in our company

If you have not received a callback or a specific date to return to work as a corporate employee, expect to be laid off and not brought back.

I was speaking of corporate employees. I should have been more clear as we make up such a small segment of the overall employment. Almost all corporate employees that will be called back already have been. Corporate will look much smaller and different now as many of the jobs are not as necessary for day to day operations.

It would make sense if the company let furloughed people know between now - July. Severance (hopefully) to occur in July. Be gone by August if you are laid off. New season, new budget.

I believe it will be extended through July as all the stores are not open yet and no corporate employees have been called back yet, and probably won't be until 3rd quarter.

Are you referring to corporate employees, store employees, or what? I believe they will certainly be some cuts, but I also think some jobs are needed and people will be called back from furlough just not essential at the moment until sales ramp up.

From what I have heard direct from some decision makers it seems that most people who haven’t been called back or have a known start date yet will be laid off.

I don’t think the insurance will be extended to furloughs after June. I think this for a couple reasons- a new contract period for insurance starts in July, and I think they are going to start laying furloughs off by then.

+1, what the previous response said.

My guess is that they will announce layoffs soon so they don't have to keep paying health benefits for everyone furloughed.
