Thread regarding Bed Bath & Beyond layoffs

Can we refuse to assist customers who are not wearing a mask?

Has anybody done it? What are the consequences, if any?

The only thing you can do is ask them to give you the 6ft of space.

Corporate told my store in the state of Virginia, we will not make customers wear masks. Do not approach them about it. They are going against the law signed by the governor requiring it. And to be honest with you, unless you are wearing a n95 or kn95 mask you are not going to be fully protected from a customer not wear any mask.

I am 62, my husband is 66. I don't want to risk it if I can avoid it.
