Really surprising the Chinese haven’t copied the Mainframe so they can sever ties with IBM...
IBM is probably about to give them the Power chip.
I would find it almost impossible to believe IBM is abandoning the China market place especially considering there are two banking sectors. (mainland China and Hong Kong). China was quite interested inBlockchain for their mainframes as they provided security second to none
The major China Banks do huge mainframe business with IBM. IBM has major software development labs there. IBM needs this business just as much as the NBA needs it. You saw what happened when China threatened the NBA business.
