Thread regarding CBRE layoffs

CBRE is anything but trustworthy

CBRE Trustworthy? Ask that question to all the people that have been laid off. If it were 6 to 12 months into the Virus situation, I could see making some cuts. But CBRE started laying people off in April of this year (2020). Their severance package doesn't offer much in salary and they cover no benefits. Worst severance offering to those who put lots of efforts to make corporate execs nice and wealthy. Mr. Sulentic, I ask you, where have you demonstated "Every day you are empowered and expected to be better."??? I will answer that question, you could have done a lot better helping your employees. "You are empowered" and you failed CBRE employees who were displaced".

Yes, I was impacted by the Covid layoffs. CBRE doesn't care about the well being for long term employees. Their regular job benefits in general are not that great. There are good people at CBRE and there are number of people who are dead weight. Some areas of the company are "clickish". They don't have a severance package worth talking about. Virtually no salary is offered and no benefits extension for a bridge to an employee whose has been pushed out of a career. Would never recommend this company to anyone in the future. There are far better managed employers that are more employee oriented. Executives demand their golden parachutes and stock options for an end to their position. They don't believe their employees are deserving of the treatment. Find another place where your career and work is valued.
