are the supervisors, mid level management and Leads especially terrible at AIG, or is it the same at any other large corporation (Pru, Chubb, etc.)?
Should I even bother interviewing with these other companies, as an individual contributor. I'm tired of eating garbage from people who are so unintelligent and insecure. Top performers were constantly swept under rug and given the sh–tiest assignments while in-office. Now, that everyone is remote, they just pile work on those very top performers while the typical ladder climbing slackers watch TV and play video games...not to mention taking on other zones' duties for which the contributor gets 0 credit or pay raise for.
Bring it up, and get fed b.s. assumptions about your 'morality', 'character', and 'together-ness with the underqualified team'. Retort with facts, scores, quantitatives, and rationale...and the discussion is cut to an end while the managers run for cover.
