I just steal the good posts that others spend so much time composing and I turn around and change a few words here to make it my own. Mostly I take two or three sentences from several posts, stick them together and give it some polish. Voila! Every week, I’m able to get two contributions posted on Workplace and regularly I receive compliments or good feedback.

I supposed it will depend on your job. I know for some managers it’s literally on their PMP that they have to post “x” number of posts on workplace. I am not quite cynical enough to think it would affect the jobs of individual technical contributors who think workplace is a distraction from their job to get oil out of the ground and to market.
