Has anyone able to report severance pay to TWC? It seems they are not interested in taking my call and I can not find a way to modify my application online.

I guess noone have luck with the appeal?
Anyone has update on appeal?
@Jomo thanks for your post. I hope you posted it a bit sooner. Could have benefited a lot of us...
If you signed a SEPARATION AGREEMENT agreeing not to sue do not list it as severance. Its incentive money. Even though it is listed as enhanced severance.
From TWC Site
Incentive money, i.e., money paid to secure an employee's agreement not to file claims or lawsuits, is not regarded as severance pay for unemployment claim purposes and will not affect unemployment benefits.

Claimed my 6wk severance the week I received it, as payment in lieu of 2 week notice. Got an email I would not be eligible for benifits for that week only. So far so good.
they will catch it later and call you..ask you if you were suing them before and if not you are ineliblle for the period of weeks the money covers..I was told when I was called by a TWC employee of 22 years
It doesn’t even have a place for me to put it on a DUA claim.
Filed unemployment for the first time since receiving severance on Monday. Filed as other payment received. It didn’t have an area for the amount. I noted it as severance with the amount in the comments section. Figure that way I could at least cya if there’s ever any problems.
I don't think in that section for other payment received we were asked to disclose the specific amount as for severance . But some other information were.
If we got a payment in lieu, will we ultimately collect less than the full 6 months of unemployment?
they will make you ineligible for benefits for the period covered..happened to me today! Starts WHEN you receive the money..they called me.

Yes you can disclose it when you request payment though it asks some questions I am not sure about, whether its a payment in lieu of advance notice and whether or not its for a release of claim.
They sure will. Employers send earnings
Do you have to disclose? Will TWC commission find it out if you don’t report?
When you file your biweekly claim, there is a question that asks you to disclose severance and other income outside of your weekly pay. You can disclose the income there, once you receive it, rather than calling the TWC Helpline.
