Unfortunately, I can’t.
The whole “your boss doesn’t like you” defense is really outdated and no one wants to hear it. Get a new narrative because you’re just a self centered low performer.
Certainly asset bosses who will openly say things like "I know I shouldn't hold a grudge but I do" and looks at you is a clear cut sign that a boss does not like you and avoids contact with you.
If the asset boss indicates in meetings that he/she has spoken to everyone (but you) about asset team responsibilities associated with the old type curves exercise is another way you know your time is limited & you aren't liked; nor respected
If the asset boss only talks to you if there's a new employee coming on board, you know your time is limited & you aren't liked; nor respected
If the asset boss skips meetings with you despite numerous attempts to show off your work, you know your time is limited & you aren't liked; nor respected.
If the asset boss looks directly at you (having screwed you out of bonus) then asks the rest of the asset team what motivates them, your life is limited.
All of these factors are clear cut signs, your time is limited. And of course, bosses like the one described above, leave the company only after signing your death sentence.
These scenarios illustrate the asset boss is a snake in the grass company man who really could care less about the team that he/she manages.
These sort of managers have no place in MRO or any company. But of course; they'll likely be promoted higher up the ladder.
I can but I think article is a bit more accurate in my case: http://www.theladders.com/career-advice/5-signs-your-boss-doesnt-like-you-as-much-as-you-think/amp
