Stopping Hazard Pay

They are stopping our hazard pay at our store once we open to the public next week. It is mandatory to wear gloves and masks.... but for some reason, working isn't hazardous? HMM.

To the last post. If gloves and masks are required at work than that means something is wrong and HAZARDOUS. So protection is needed. I’d say those are hazardous conditions. Keep the hazard pay. Obviously your p-ss-d cause your stuck there and probably had to work this whole time. So. Get back to work. Where you belong.

Another post from an uninformed complainer. The hazard pay was originally designed as a bump during the first few weeks of furlough when most associates got two weeks of pay while sitting at home and others were earning their checks working on shipping out orders.

What incentive did those associates get to work, hazard pay and the stores were not even open to the public. They continued that pay for 11 or so weeks and once the stores opened up due to local guidelines, they stopped it.

Rather than complaining, maybe you should say that you for the extra money for as long as you got it?

Why is no-one ever happy..We got it for weeks that was nice , we worked ,got extra income, now we are complaining AGAIN. . I AM GRATEFUL .The masks and gloves are not just for you but for other associates protection..Would u feel better if the company did layoffs instead? You have choices in life leave if you are that miserable ..I'm tired of reading negativity, these days are tough enough with things that really matter.
