I started coming here to get info on what was going on with our company because half the time we are kept in the dark. For good or bad like many of you I choose to stay with them. And I thought this was a place to get support and information. But the way some of you talk to each other is absolutely shameful and disgusting. If I were at work and heard an associate speak to another like some of you have done I would do everything to have them fired immediately. So what if you think the question is dumb. Who cares if you think they should know the answer already. This should be a supportive place to ask. Not a place to get told how dumb you are.

Thank you for stating the obvious. The insulting coworkers on this site are clones of mgrs and assiocates of my store. Overworked, cut hours and SM who screams at us. Plus s-xual harrassment and rude entitled customers. Add that with living in CA with riots, looting, violence, curfews etc. Good run for 14 yrs but ready to move on. Covid-19 & CA insanity gave me opportunity to move to MT. My safety is first

After hearing about the layoffs occurring over the grid (many companies laying off employees to lighten the burden), I've been wondering if anyone's heard if this happening to CTS. I work in NY, and am happy to be coming back on Friday, I'm just worried about how the furlough effected future employment. Due to the successes of online shopping, I saw a lot of places closing their physical shops down. Saves money on having to pay employees and space rental. I just wonder if Bed Bath and Beyond is planning the same in the future. I know they don't do online ordering for CTS, but that can change. Has anyone who's been back to work noticed any changes (ie hourly cuts, ECT) since being back?

IWAS STATING THE FACT THAT A LOT OF PROPLE COME HERE FOR SUPPORT FROM EACH OTHER AND IT SEEMS LIKE MORE OFTEN THAN NOT PEOPLE ARE SPOKE DOWN TO AND BELITTLED FOR THEIR QUESTIONS OR CALLED OUT AS BEING IGNORANT OR IN GENERAL MADE TO FEEL STUPID BY WHAT ARE SUPPOSED TO BE FELLOW EMPLOYEES. At no time did I say anything about the company not needing to make money...??? Are you not aware that is how most jobs in large companies work? They are in the business of making money..not being your friend. That is the cold hard truth. And how exactly would you " make sure someone got fired?" Serious question. How would you? And for what?
Well my original post was about how people here treat each other. It’s pathetic. As far as the company goes...I’ve been screwed over and taken for absolute granted just like the rest of you. It’s almost shameful how much time I threw away with them. But I in no way was defending who we work for. Just saying that if this is a place of support...then support!!! Don’t talk down to each other.

Idk where in the company you work, but my district has treats employees like absolutely sh–. Actually, they treat us less than. We have watched this company turn from a great place to work to total sh–. They have turned their back on us over and over again. Just because you got lucky doesn't mean you have the right to tell others they can't feel the way they do and that they are wrong. This company will drop you a second without thinking twice. I have known too many great employees that have done so much for this company just to one day work into work and be told they no longer have a job.
I have read this board for a long time but have not made a comment until today (my 1st one is in the Executive order thread..I'm the OMG one). Where did someone call anyone dumb? I see so much on this board that is out and out not true. Yet when people ask for clarification they are yelled at? I see so much bitterness. It is very sad. Yes boards are a place to vent but I see so few constructive things posted. So few offering solutions. I see posts where someone says something positive and then they are mocked. So negative..so sad
